It's hard to tell because of the light, but is that the same blue as the body color?
Either way, looks good! Thanks for sharing. |

That's about 10 shades too light to be the color of the car. It looks good!! I did that myself. _________________

I kinda figured it was too light. But thought maybe it was a trick of the light. Since it does darken up a bit on the front verticle part not directly lit by the sun.
Still looks very nice. Good work! |

You know everytime I take a picture it makes this cover look very bright. It actually is a heck of alot darker. _________________ #1639 of 2424

It looks good. wildnorth29 over at the MCF did his similiar with a nice touch that you could still add (or do something similiar). I think it looks fantastic. I stole these pics:
The fazed edges are done well and really complete the look IMO _________________ Cardomain page - Motortopia Garage

Nice work on the cover. That looks great.
I too have been putting this off for far too long!!
Did you mask the lettering with tape ..?
Did you paint the letters first or after the blue??
Procrastinators want to know!!!

If you're going to mask, you need to find some of that lettering tape that costs like $8 a roll and is like 1/4 thick. I used vasiline on my letters. I sprayed them silver, put a heavy coat of vaseline over them, then wiped it off. _________________
