Any that knows how I can transfer this site to my name or copy it to a new site, please let me know. I am sick of Patrick just dropping it, as he does not even own a JG Monte Carlo anymore. Thanks.

Sorry Donna. I really wish I could help you out with this. I know how much work and dedication you, Bob, and everyone put into this site.

Even being an assistant admin over at the other site, doesn't help. The admin controls over there are all menu driven. Only a couple paid employees of the company that owns the site (and about 50 others) have the access to the areas which you are trying to access here.

A sports forum that I'm on had a very similar problem you're having. It was a huge site. Unfortunately, they eventually just bit the bullet and started over from zero.

I know that's what you're trying to avoid. Hopefully someone is able to help. I love this site. I'll follow you to your new site if/when you move. So glad Duane told me about this site. You guys are great!

Well if no problems arise we can always stay here. As a casual member, I see none except you basically being the one in charge now and labeled as VP.

We may have to do as Taz said, and just bite the bullet and start all over again. I see nothing wrong with doing that either. It may be best to start over sooner rather than later.

Something else with starting your own site...

Not only would you have full 100% control to do what you want, when you want. But you also can get creative with the domain name. To take advantage of people using search engines like google.

Don't know if this domain name is available, but you could try something like "JeffGordonMonteCarlo.com"

I'm sure others will have some great suggestions also!

Would Patrick ever just end the site? I know someone who did what Patrick is doing and a month ago they just deleted the site. Luckily we all were close and found another forum.

We should really start a backup website just incase he scraps the idea of the site.

Why dont he just give you control Donna. We should all send him an email saying to him that you should get full control of the site.

This is all just my opinion though,

Perhaps that could help. I guess I am going to have to start looking for another domain, but I am not really good at that sort of thing. I guess, I don't know where to start.
